Middle and High School Program

At Still Waters International Academy’s Middle and High School Program, our greatest focus is teaching our students to become disciples of CHRIST. Our aim is to teach them accountability, responsibility, and independence while keeping them safe through a personal and CHRIST-like approach to education. Our program teaches our students to grow in maturity not just academically but spiritually as well.

Still Waters International Academy’s Middle and High School is a ministry of Still Waters Community Church. This program offers a safe, personal, and holistic approach for each middle and high school aged student. Students are taught to become disciples of CHRIST and to live with excellence in all that they do. GOD's presence is welcomed, real relationships are encouraged with GOD and one another, and all manner of academic knowledge and skill is laid at the foot of the cross to HIS service.

Learning Grade Groups

Still Waters International Academy Elementary serves students from 6th through 12th Grade. Middle and High School is divided into two groups: 6th-8th Grade (Middle School), and 9th-12th Grade (High School).

Middle School (6th-8th Grade)
Still Waters Middle School nurtures growing minds with a CHRIST-centered foundation through Abeka curriculum. Building on this base, the program emphasizes project-based learning, critical thinking, and practical theology. Students take ownership of their education while faith is cultivated through daily Scripture, prayer, and devotion. Rather than drifting toward rebellion, they learn to serve others and honor the authority GOD has placed in their lives.
High School (9th-12th Grade)
Education broadly seeks to produce productive members of society, but Still Waters High School pursues a higher goal—disciples of JESUS CHRIST who live for HIS Kingdom and HIS Culture. This vision shapes academics, character, emotional, and spiritual formation alike, equipping students not only with strong academics but also with the love, grace, humility, and purpose needed to navigate life’s challenges. Daily Scripture, devotion, and authentic conversations with the LORD are modeled by teachers and peers, creating a community deeply invested in each student’s success.

Spiritual Growth

Faith is central to the student experience with daily devotion time to set the tone for learning. These rhythms help students cultivate a personal relationship with God and stay rooted in Christian values. In addition, biblical language studies in Hebrew and Greek deepen scriptural understanding, allowing students to engage with the Bible in its original form. The CHRIST Culture Youth Orchestra provides a unique outlet for musical expression, blending artistic growth with worship, and reinforcing the integration of faith and creativity.

Academics

Students receive a strong academic foundation through Abeka, Bob Jones, and PragerU curriculum resources. Partnerships with GA Virtual School and Ethos School expand access to diverse online learning opportunities. Project-based learning, such as hydroponics or a chicken coop project, promotes creativity, problem-solving, and practical application of knowledge.

College & Career Prep

Dual enrollment opportunities with Kennesaw State University, Georgia Gwinnett College, and Gwinnett Tech allow students to earn college credit while in high school. Real-life application seminars—covering topics like personal finance, real estate, cooking, sewing, self-defense, and stress management—equip students with skills for adulthood and future success.

Special Programs

Weekly special lectures, such as Civil War history or brain science, bring in experts to expand students’ perspectives. Quarterly field trips to places like Six Flags or iFLY add experiential learning outside the classroom. Partnerships with Gwinnett County Public Library’s Learning Labs provide access to cutting-edge resources and technology.

Extracurriculars

Our program also includes and showcases the C2E Internship Program – Honor Society, CHRIST Culture Youth Orchestra & Private Lessons, Trail Life USA, CHRIST Culture Girls Scouting Group, Tennis Club, Newsletter Team, Student Scholar Assistant Teacher etc.
