Day School Programs

At Still Waters International Academy, we understand how critical the right daycare is for parents. That’s why Still Waters International Academy Day School was founded over 15 years ago, to provide a haven for parents prioritizing genuine care, strong communication, and CHRIST at the core. Our dedicated, carefully chosen teachers work hard to create a caring, nurturing, clean, and safe environment. From instilling core, CHRIST-like values to fostering academic and social growth, we’re committed to giving parents peace of mind and children a strong foundation for all that the LORD has in store.

Still Waters 1's and 2's program is where children have an opportunity to learn in a safe, CHRIST-centered environment and be encouraged on intentional learning activities, to ask questions and together finding the answer. We have the goal to ensure their growth development is on the mark and to advance even further as all things are possible through CHRIST. We want our early learners to explore and see the many wonderful things ELOHIM (GOD) has created and form a connection to CHRIST and who HE is.

Still Waters 3's and 4's is a program where the children stand firm on the foundation of Truth and Love laid down by JESUS CHRIST. Our children learn that seeking GOD comes first and everything else flows from HIM. We strive to bring comfort, safety, knowledge, and enrichment to the children and encourage the children to find their purpose in YESHUA (JESUS).

Learning Grade Groups

Still Waters International Academy Day School serves children from 1 year old through Pre-Kindergarten.

The Day School is divided into four age-specific classrooms:

1-year-olds, 2-year-olds, 3-year-olds, and Pre-Kindergarten.

1-year-olds
The 1-year olds class lays the foundations for healthy growth and joyful learning. Teachers guide students through motor skills development such as holding large crayons to walking and climbing. Our families and staff are always blessed to see this youngest crew babble and dance in worship and praise to our heavenly Father! It is a joy to see those who have just recently learned to walk bouncing up and down in worship!
2-year-olds
Cultivating minds is a responsibility the 2-year-olds class holds as a great privilege. Here the little ones develop in all facets through hands-on play, guided exploration, and daily routines. The teachers and parents rave about how the students can repeat and even understand Scripture verse words shared in class. Seeing this crew work through their development to interact, share, and help one another brings so much warmth into the class.
3-year-olds
It is a special feeling to be confident in the place where your child spends time learning and growing. The 3-year-olds class is the perfect place for the kids to blossom into curious learners and loving friends. Here, the young ones jump into learning through active play and appropriate education. They build the spiritual habits and academic readiness for a successful Pre-K experience. Along with Bible stories and prayer, it’s a blessing to see the students engaged in joyful worship!
Pre-Kindergarten
Pre-K is a perfect blend of connecting ideas, loving behavior, and worshipping together. Our teachers love watching and guiding the students develop and mature in their own unique ways. They see students begin to really consider how others will be affected and are able to act in service to one another. This is all on top of incorporating the highly acclaimed Abeka curriculum into the students’ learning day. High level learning with GOD's Love is the recipe for our Pre-K class.

Our Beliefs

Still Waters Day School program is rooted in a strong foundation of faith, beginning each day with worship and prayer to center on ELOHIM (GOD). Children are introduced to theology through age-appropriate, engaging methods such as acting out Bible stories with puppets and engaging in worship music to nurture their relationship with ELOHIM. Our spiritually grounded teachers model CHRIST-like character to help students grow in their understanding of ELOHIM while cultivating godly discipline in their everyday life.

The Class Environment

We provide a safe, nurturing environment where each child feels secure and spiritually supported. Caring, trained teachers offer one-on-one attention to build trust and value every child as a gift from GOD. Our facilities are clean, sanitized daily, and secured with digital sign-ins, childproofing, and clear emergency protocols to ensure that every parent feels confident in our facilities.

Student Development

Our programs foster independence and holistic growth through structured learning and predictable routines. Children build self-regulation, communication, and exploration skills while developing physically, cognitively, socially, and emotionally, with support for milestones like potty training, hand-eye coordination, and spatial reasoning, but, more importantly, their spiritual growth as children of GOD.

Creative Enrichment

Our curriculum includes ST2E2AM-based learning with weekly science experiments that ignite curiosity and critical thinking. Students are also exposed to Spanish, physical education (PE), and art, which promote creativity, language development, and physical health. These areas of learning complement their spiritual and emotional growth, equipping them for lifelong learning and exponential growth.

Communications

Strong communication is imperative for a child’s growth. That’s why at Still Waters International Academy, we emphasize proactive communication for parents through daily updates on their child’s daily activities, meals, and behavior–often with fun pictures to brighten up every parent’s day.  Proactive communication enables a two-way street where parents are encouraged to share updates, ideas, and concerns with staff and program leads. Parental involvement isn’t just welcomed, it’s nurtured. We invite parents to participate and observe in their child’s class, to strengthen the bond not just at home but at school.
